The recording of my new Cd, 'Smile and Pretend' went great. Mark Hallman, at the Congress House Studio in Austin, is a great guy with awesome ears. This time around with all new tunes, there was a bit of fiddle added that I played and I want to thank Angela Thomas for her beautiful voice on several tracks and Kevin Fox for his great stand-up bass playing on a handful of tracks. It was a long, but great day! Now, Mark will be putting his talents into the mixing and mastering process of the CD. I'm excited to hear it myself. I'll keep you posted on the release date! I always love to go to Austin, but I also always love to get back to the Oregon coast to rest up! Hanging out, then I'm gone! Dale
